The foundations of Duyar, a family company, were laid out by Şem'i Duyar in the 1940s with the opening of a wholesale shoe shop in İzmir Kiraz Han.

In this period, Duyar, which shifted to the shoe supply trade from the shoe selling, incorporated well-established companies over the years.

It incorporated SOTAŞ in 2009 and DERBY, the industry's legend, in 2013. Duyar, which has undergone many changes and developments over the years, is now proceeding on its way firmly with its 4th generation.
